The Glow Show

One of the big mysteries in the history of photography is, why do photographers limit themselves to showing just the glow under Mesa Arch in Canyonlands NP instead of capturing the whole area in selective illumination? Puzzles me to no end.

I've heard that this place is a gong show....sadly many areas are becoming the same.
As you say, you only need to look around you to see the beauty..
