I was photographing squirrels on a rainy day. This hungry bobcat suddenly appeared and chased a squirrel up the tree. The squirrel got away. I had a Nikon 850 with a 500mm lens in my hands. In the very few seconds the bobcat was on the tree, I captured this image.

Great timing! Great look! Colors are nice too.

Outstanding image and super quick reactions. I really like the way the bobcat is looking your way.

Well done on the quick reaction and a lovely image as a result!  I like that we can see the claws extended to support the body weight as it climbs the tree.

Excellent shot with the bobcat looking right at you and a great pose on the tree.

The bobcat is not looking at me. It just appears that way because of the 500mm lens. I had previously set up video coverage of the area and also captured the event on video.  https://youtu.be/mxKTcxv0kqs
