Mainly about researching my own RAW files not used before and  referencing lenses being used.

This was with a 500 F4 Nikon and 1.4 extender.  (have been deliberating re the 800 Z and their shorter lenses and this rather confirms there will be a need and use of the 800 for me).  Pretty well decided now..

For info.  FF in Kenya on a D300. (equivalent Focal length in 35mm  1050).

Thanks for looking.

Impressive details for such a long focal length...glad you made the right decision regarding the 800mm.

Thanks Sinuhe.  Appreciated.  One of those situations that if I had decided on the 400 4.5, whilst enjoying its weight and cost, I'd be always hankering for more reach.  Cheers.

Once again the detail is beautiful and I think your description of 'wistful' is perfect for the look in the eye of this young buffalo. Lots to like with this study, Dave!

Thanks Carol.  Appreciated.  Nice to see something other than the Buffalo glare, which they adopt soon after birth.  :D

Sweet shot- love the details , including the moist whiskers. The blueish light is rather special too.
