This hut is one of my favourite local subjects, and I've photographed it on various occasions during the change of seasons, autumn and early winter being most prominent.

This image is somewhat special in that it was taken with my old mechanical Hasselblad coupled with a loaned 50MB digital back - at that time an absolute novelty with a price tage to match.

On reworking this image, I still remain impressed by the quality of the large CCD sensor and the Zeiss 180mm lens - a wistful nostalgic hankering back for a bygone era.

Thanks for stopping by - have a great day ;)

What a lovely image. Love the framing and even more impressive, the info of the old Hassleblad. Just shows how its in such good hands.

A step back in time with the equipment and a step back in time with this lovely image!  A wonderful feel and mood with this one, Sinuhe.  Beautifully done!

Love this-such a nostalgic mood -beautiful fall colors and light. I wonder what the old building was used for, long ago. Can see why it is a favorite.

Thank you Cindy - appreciated.
I'm guessing it was a small barn for the storage of agricultural equipment.

Love it, my only wish is that the roof line of the cabin wouldn't be clipped on the left side.

Thanks EJ - glad you liked it - valid point - IIRC framing was a bit hit and miss with this combination as I didn't have a dedicated mask.
