The supernova remnants from an exploding star 20 times the size of our Sun.... Very recent, only 10,000 years ago.
Imaged at Prineville reservoir, Oregon.
asi294 color camera with Williams 71 scope (678mm).
De-starred with new Starexterminator 2.0 in Pixinsight.

Just amazing. It looks like some artist has splatter-sprayed a canvas. Gets a thumbs up from me.
