I’m curious if anyone has ever used these filters.
I would rather have a front filter for the lenses but I haven’t found any.
Thanks

I have one I use with a D610, they work, are easy to put in and take out.
You have to use live view with them.
There is no substitute for a dedicated Astro camera. I never use a DSLR for astro or even Milly way photos anymore
even with filters.
A color astro camera will give you better results with no filter vs. a DSLR with a filter.
Astro cameras work great with DSLR lens also.

I have both Ha and Oxygen clip-ins for DSRs. I had no success with them. If you were shooting in the cold so thermal noise is minimized, they might be useful, but I found the images to be a sea of noise and so difficult to process that I quit using them. The problem is the Bayer matrix of RGGB, so when you shoot HA, only 1 in 4 pixels gets information.
However, I have seen people with decent results, so it's not impossible, but as Dan suggested, buy a cooled Astro camera. You'll never look back. If you are doing wide field, pick up a used DSLR and have it modded to let more Ha through. A Canon 6D works well and are cheap on the used market.
