I used a ProGrade CFExpress card today. I took 1300 plus pictures. More than 1000 was lost while I tried to copy over to the computer. Is there any software available for card recovery that is free of charge. I'm not willing to pay so much for a software that I can't iven try first. I would go for a free one. Thanks.

Hi Karl...Looks like ProGrade has its own version of recovery software. It's $50, but you can download a free version to at least see if the files are recoverable. Here's the link:

Hope you're able to recover the photos regardless of the software used.
