Carol.
This was the original workshop of my best friend's (female) older brother who passed away unexpectedly.  His wife and children made the decision that NO one was allowed to remove, use or touch anything ever again.  This included the structure, the tools, the equipment, EVERTHING.  It sits behind his house as a constant reminder of his presence.  I was taken by the simplicity of the photograph and particularly by the sentiment associated with it.

Now I understand, Jake.  Over here it would be called a man cave and is a place of sanctuary from the intrusions of the rest of the world.  The story behind your image is touching, and as you say, a constant reminder of his presence but I get the feeling that he is forever in their hearts anyway.

Thank you for sharing the story behind your photo.

Interesting memento-I suppose it will deteriorate as time goes on-perhaps that is the intention.

Happiness is measured in many different units.
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.
