I just posted this video in the Northeast section but thought I would also post here.

A friend loaned me his Sennheiser ME66 microphone and I liked it so much I bought my own.

Here's a short video recorded last month from Mass Audubon Daniel Webster Wildlife Sanctuary in Marshfield, Mass.

I think the best clip is of the male Bobolink singing, the quality of the audio is very good.

Stunning video and audio. What was your video setup and which ME 66 kit did you get.

Here's a photo that shows my rig taken in almost the exact location I recorded the Bobolink. It's a little hard to see but I have a custom sled so there are three points of contact: camera body, lens foot and front of lens **not the hood**.  This is mounted on a Gitzo tripod and Sachtler video fluid head which make for a much more stable platform when recording video.

For the microphone I am using a Sennheiser ME66 and Auray Professional Windshield (WWS-2018) which I bought from B&H and is mounted on a Wimberley flash bracket and F-2 Macro Bracket .  This bracket combination is mounted off the Wimberely plate which is attached to the foot of my Canon 600mm lens,. Hope that makes sense. Many of you already knows this but I always turn off the IS when recording any video. If not you will hear the sound of the IS on your audio.
