The Tellico River is located in eastern Tennessee near the town of Tellico Plains. I spent 2 days exploring the headwaters and taking in the beautiful scenery. This part of the river is in the Cherokee National Forest which is operated by the US Forest Service. I visited there during the government shut-down but the area was still open for use. Best viewed in HD and full screen mode. It takes a while to load.
