I hesitate to ask this question as I see that most discussions here center on high-end cameras and magnum megapixels. I am older, my needs are not great, and I have been shooting a Canon 7D MkII for the past 4 years and have been quite happy with it. My backup is a 10MP Canon 1D MkIII and it performed poorly in an air show that I recently attended. I am considering the 90D but my shooting frequently includes fast birds in flight and aircraft and some questions have been raised on the autofocus being perhaps not as good on the 90D as the 7D MkII (which works just fine for me). I am not prepared to move to mirrorless and try and learn a whole new approach. Anyone have any help with this question of autofocus for birds in flight and the 90D?
