Another potential astro lens.  I own the Sigma 14mm f/1.8, wonder how this will stack up, it certainly is a lot smaller and lighter...

The lenstip site shows the Sigma better as far as coma and vignetting are concerned, but the weight and size savings of the Sony are compelling. The Sigma is a monster in comparison.

Yes, I have the Sigma and I rarely take it with me because of it's added bulk.  I am considering replacing it with the Sony just because I'll be way more likely to take it with me.

I like that they have files to download, but every one I looked at had a 15-second exposure so it's a bit hard to compare coma. Although the weight and size differences are so compelling, I'm tempted to sell my Sigma.
