Samyang has just introduced a 24mm f/1.8 lens that they claim has been optimized for corner to corner IQ in astro photography:

I’d be more interested if it was a bit wider. It’s supposed to have an automatic setting for infinity focus. I wonder how accurate that will be?

I would like to see this in a 14mm with Fuji X Mount as I consider their existing 12mm just a bit too wide for my tastes. Having accurate infinity focus at the touch of a button would be amazing.

It will be interesting to see how the infinity focus works. Temperature affects focus too, so I ‘m not sure how well it will work, although I do have a couple of manual focus lens that the infinity mark seems to be accurate in different temperatures.
