Just for the sake of interest.
I have been using a Watson B-3416-2 battery, a replacement of EN-EL18c Nikon Battery for the last almost two years.
I usually charge it when it goes down to 75%.
Recently I had a very intense shootout with Nikon D850 with the battery grip on.
I looked at the charge, it was down to 59%.
The number of shots taken: 4454 frames.
Truly amazing.

Just FYI, you will get the longest service life of a LiION battery if you recharge around 40%. Unlike earlier NiMH and NiCAD, running a LiION battery to zero regularly severely limits the service life of a LiION batter and similarly, recharging too soon, such as at 75%, also reduces the total service life of the battery. That's not to say that doing either occasionally is a problem but doing it regularly does decrease the total life of that battery.

Thanks for the information, E.J. I'll try to remember next time.

Maybe this shows how old I am, but I had a Nikon F5, one of the first ones in Canada. It ran on double AA batteries and I used to get around 8 rolls of film out of a pack. I forget how I fixed the problem, I might have returned it and got another one. Modern cameras are magical compared to the old days!

I always like to refer people to this site for expert battery info:

BTW, Scott, I used AA lithium batteries in my F5 for much longer shooting time. Big improvement. I still use them in equipment that allows their use.

Yes, I did the same. Regular batteries were not very useful in that camera.
