I finally received my Canon R6, but the adapter for my EF lenses is not available anywhere. It's been backordered at B&H for 2 months. I have a trip coming up in 3 weeks.
Vello makes an adapter which is available. Anyone have any comments about buying the Vello.
Right now my R6 is useless

First, I would check local or semi local independent photography stores. I ran in to the same thing and about 3 weeks ago a friend of mine alerted me to one in an independent store in Syracuse NY (two hours away). I called and ordered it and have been happily using it for two weeks. Absent that, I would try the Vello. I do not have any experience with it, but if the price isn't too bad it is certainly better than nothing. You could always sell it when you get an OEM version. Just a thought.

How about seeing if LensRental has one you could rent?

These seem to be coming into the canon USA company store with some regularity. I put a watch request into canon price watch, was notified by email when they came in and got one within a week. When they come in they go fast under 24 hours.

I would definitely get the Canon adapter, or get the Vello now and then sell it when you get the Canon.
