Looks like a pure video camera unlike Canon's R5.

Certianly targeted towards that but the a7S series has always been an exceptional still camera if you need extreme ISO performance and aren't concerned with lower megapixel counts - 12mp.  I know many astro photographers that love this camera because they can run the ISO into the stratosphere.

The big pixels would be good for that use, especially with the bigger battery.
