Lots of cameras do that and in the case of the a7R4 you are looking at 244mp images in it's pixelshift mode. The problem with these modes is the time it takes to take the images makes it really difficult to get a good clean shot unless everything is ultra still. Even being on a tripod on the second floor of a building can induce enough movement (remember it only needs to move by a half pixel or maybe 2 or 3 microns) to not get a clean shot. Some cameras handle this better than others but for the most part it is best for something that is completely still with a hefty tripod on a concrete slab.
