Folks:

Do any of you have firsthand experience with or or otherwise know whether the Think Tank Photo Firstlight 40L will fit into the overhead bins on common commercial airliners such as the Boeing 737, 757, 767, 777 and 787 and the Airbus A300 series airliners?

Thank you, in advance, for any information that you can provide to me on this subject.

Best Regards,

Roman :-)

Dear Craig:

Thank you for your response. You are correct about the size limit, which appears to apply to several domestic airlines including American Airlines and Delta Airlines. Both the Think Tank Firstlight 40L and the Think Tank Airport Accelerator meet this size limit. In addition to the maximum size limit, there is a weight limit too, which is dependent on the weight of one’s kit + the weight of the applicable backpack. Since the Airport Accelerator is 1 to 2 lbs lighter than the Firstlight 40L,
It provides an advantage so far as staying below the maximum weight of the applicable airline.

Best Regards,

Roman :-)
