Good Morning Joe:

Thank you for sharing the review of the new Sony a9 II of photography blog.com, which was very informative, and for me, confirming. Last month I sold all of my Canon gear (1DX Mk II camera; EF 24-70 F2.8L USM II lens; EF 70-200 F2.8L USM IS III lens; and EF 600 F4L USM IS II lens) and purchased an entirely new Sony kit (a9 II camera; 24-70 F2.8 GMaster lens; 70-200 F2.8 GMaster lens; and 600 F4 GMaster lens). At this point, I am familiarizing myself with the Sony kit and looking forward to making some images that are worthy of being shared here on NatureScapes.net.

Very Best Regards,

Roman :-)

Hi Roman
Please keep us informed on how the 600 performs. I have been thinking about the a9 ll and 600 as a final equipment purchase to satisfy the bug in me. The weight factor is attractive and, of course, performance will be a great upgrade from my current equipment. I hope you enjoy your setup and have plenty of time to use it on great subjects.

I am currently planning on putting the 600 through it's paces in an extreme environment at the end of February and early March...

I have been using the Sony 600 f4 GM in Southern Africa. It is simply peerless.
