Hi all

Appreciate any thoughts on this item, Lume Cube.  Has anyone used it for macro?  https://lumecube.com/collections/dslr-photo-video/products/lume-cube-photographer-kit

Thanks!!

It's not super bright, around the brightness of an incandescent 60W bulb or about a 10W LED light bulb but for close range stuff it should be OK. Two of them on either side of the camera angled toward the subject could be pretty useful for Macro I think.

I have been using them to get rid of shadows (as fill flash) on flower images. They work very well for that and I have been very happy with them. E.J. is right they do not give out much light but for certain things they are perfect and don't take much room in the bag
