Note that in its current incarnation, it works with dogs, cats and primates primarily. Sony has stated that they would work on birds but of course that is a very complex thing due to the number of different eye size, shapes, colors, etc they have to deal with for that. Also note that a significant amount of the time, eye-AF captures the eyelashes which can sometimes lead to OOF pupils but Sony is much better in that regard than any other manufacturer that claims eye-AF
