I have received an email from Canon CPS, announcing the permanent closing of the Jamesburg, NJ repair facility effective March 15, 2019.
After that date consumers should use the facility at Newport News, VA. A phone call to Canon revealed that CPS members can use the facility at Lyndhurst, NJ.
