From my understanding, the images are “out of camera(or in camera)”. In the PetaPixel article under the image of the Nikon camera, it states that the goal was to get the effect without channel swapping or extensive PP work. It was then turned over to Kolari. Look at the display on the Canon screen. Also, read the description here:E.J.
