Looking for suggestions on the best quality non-Nikon flash sync cord.....................want a short one for use with flash off camera on Wimberly flash bracket.  Dot-line, JJC, Vello are some of the ones I know exist................and links to your favorite would be helpful.

I have used Vello with absolutely no problems.
These are a heck of a lot cheaper than the Nikon brand.

I have the JCC cord for Nikon- no issues in three years:

I also have a Vello (for Sony hot shoe) and it too has not had any problems and seems to be well made.

Even though it says that they are a meter long, they are very tightly coiled and is really only about a foot long - about half the length of the old, non-functioning, Nikon branded one that I have.

Hey E. J.
If you have the SC-29, you might want to refer to this thread regarding a fix for your cord:

It also has info on other cords.

LOL, I'm the one that wrote the original paper on fixing those Nikon cords (and Canon - they are the same cord made by the same subcontractor just with the brand specific connections)  almost two decades ago ;)
Mine has a different problem.

Thanks E.J.................yes, I was wondering about the length.  That's sort of why I asked the question because I saw these are 1 meter in length.
