I can no longer hold graduated neutral density filters in front of the lens by hand because of a medical issue. I need a filter system that is easy to work with given my reduced dexterity. The Lee System looked challenging but I have no experience with it. What  do others use or suggest? Thanks

These are not cheap, but I hear they are really good. I have not personally used them.

Do you need a 100mm system or a 150mm system?

I was thinking 100mm. I do own the Canon 11-24 but I don't think I want to get involved with filters for it....

I might take a train ride into NYC tomorrow  to see some of the setups at B&H--and in the mean time will do the math to see what I want to start with will cost. I was in B&H to pickup a flash ordered online the Sunday before Christmas and it looked they had a good setup to compare....

I used to have the Lee and Singh-Ray filters, now switched to Breakthrough filters. They are cheaper and have a very good quick release system for 100mm graduated NDs. If you want to use just NDs, they have a proprietary magnetic ring system that literally makes it a snap to attach and release the filters. Quality is top notch.

After researching alternatives for a 100mm square filter system I went with the Kase K-8 system. Middle-of-the-road pricing and the quality seems to very good what I can tell. Their Woverine series filters are nearly indestructible and have a "fluorine" type coating that repels moisture. Like some others it uses a magnetic CPL but I thought the Kase had the best design overall. The K-8 holder supports the magnetic CPL and up to three traditional 2mm thick filters as well as the new thinner/lighter 1.1mm filters. I chose to stick with the 2mm because I had a couple of Singh-Ray grads still lying around that are compatible with the system.

The only downside is that there's no North American distributor, so you basically have to buy through ebay, but the prices were competitive with other systems.

As far a being "fiddly" it's hard to say, all of these systems at some point have to be attached to your lenses using the filter threads which can be fussy so there's no escaping that.

Good luck!

I also have the Canon 11-24. I seriously considered the 150mm Lee system  but decided to go for the LucrOIT filter holder which gets more and more popular in Europe now and is very good for the extreme wide angle because the 165mm system better prevents from vignetting at the extreme compared to Lee. LucrOIT is a Spanish company. It's often used with the Nikon 14-24mm but there's an adapter for the Canon 11-24, too.

The information on their website is a bit limited but you can google for more details, i.e.

I have used Lee for my other lenses, too and so far it has worked for me pretty well.
I don't know about the distribution of LuCROIT in the US but you certainly could purchase it on Amazon or from other dealers.

I've used some screw-in type Formatt-Hitech Firecrest filters, specifically the 105mm screw-in ones which few manufacturers make for years - I am pleased with them.
