Just a heads up: B&H is currently offering the Sony A7 R II for $1,798, $200 less than the A7 III. A great deal for photographers who don't need the latest and greatest because they almost exclusively shoot with manual prime lenses ( like me), but still would like a high resolution sensor without the AA filter.
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.

$1798.00 at Adorama also, but I've already bought a A7III with a Sony FE4 / 24-105 G lens. I'd like to buy that Sony 16-35 zoom lens next. So many choices, too much money for me, so i have to be selective and patient.

That's my goof-around combo now. The A7RII took the place as my bread-and-butter camera, the A7II received the 28-70 that used to be on the A7 and got demoted to goof-around duty, and the A7 sold yesterday for $600. Couldn't believe someone actually paid that much for it.
