Something caught my attention during the live presentation the other day regarding the Expeed 6 image processor.

To quote:

"A new sharpness parameter offering adjustment in the middle frequency range between outline sharpening and clarity giving more sharpness and three-dimensionality."

I am already well pleased with the way my D850's Expeed processor handles DR, tones and noise - What in your opinion do you think the above quote implies about the new processor?

Also: Is poor battery life fixable (to a degree) in terms of a future firmware upgrade?

What it is reported to do is to try to use deconvolution sharpening to compensate for lens diffraction. We are discussing the Z6/Z7 in another thread that already has several pages. ;)
