I used this lens as my primary lens on a trip to Helsinki, Finland a couple of weeks ago.  It's a great little lens for the money.  Here's my review:

I'm going to bump this one time, something I don't usually do, because I keep getting emails from folks asking me if I've used this lens and what I thought of it....

Thanks for bumping it, I missed it the first time around. The AF issues were fixed in a firmware update weren't they?

I wouldn't say it had AF issues, it was just slower than the Sony f/2.8 lens and did a little more of the back and forth thing before locking on - more like I was shooting with an a7R II - in the end it always focused accurately.  This lens had the updated firmware.  Other reviewers have had the same experience, accurate AF but nothing like the Sony f/2.8 lens for lock on speed.
