L-Plate for Sony A7RIII

So I finally pulled the trigger and switched from Nikon to Sony for my landscape, travel and portraiture work. I love the A7RIII, but form factor wise, it doesn't feel right in my hands unless I have the battery grip attached. With it attached, it feels great. Now I'm looking for an L-plate. I'll most likely get one from RRS. The question I have is . . . would it be better to get the L-plate for just the body or for the body + battery grip? Would the tall L-plate be less stable with heavier lenses?

I don't believe RRS currently make an L-Bracket for the A7RIII with the Battery Pack. I have the basic bracket for the camera which is great, it incorporates the battery compartment lid into the bracket itself.

Actually, RRS does make an L-bracket for the A7RIII + battery grip. I'm on the page right now. :)

OK. My mistake.

I use Nikon with an L-Bracket and the A7RIII with L-Bracket, originally I thought it felt a bit odd but now I'm getting used to it. You remove the battery compartment lid and place it onto the L-Bracket which is weather sealed. The bracket gives a bit extra hand grip, give it a try.
