Anyone tempted by this B&H offer?

I know the X1D has some issues but it looks a gorgeous camera.

The only real remaining issue is that the camera takes an eternity to start-up. Pretty much everything else has been addressed. It's a fun camera and the best camera on the planet if you do a weight/IQ ratio :)

It will probably get cheaper since Sony is about to introduce a 100 megapixel version of the 44x33 sensor...

I've been reading that from time to time as some of the early users of the X1D post there.

I'm over it for the moment but that may all change if I should win the lottery.  :lol:
