I just received by lens from B&H and all of the instruction manuals are in a foreign language. Is there any thing about this lens that I should know? I have owned the 70-200 and the 70-300 so I am familiar with the operating procedures of this type of lens.

Here’s a PDF of the manual.

Sony 100-400 manual.

I'd be pretty worried that they sent you a gray market item that you might not be able to have serviced if you didn't receive a manual that also has English in it.

Just received mine today as well. Lots of foreign languages there, but you should have one that says Interchangeable Lens Operating Instructions and, more importantly, one that says Limited Warranty - US and Canada only - 1 year.

OK
went back to the  manuals and located the "missing manual" which is tucked in with a variety of other language instructions. I assumed it I would find a stand alone document--my bad. Thanks for the tip.
