Would Like To Use this with a Canon 5D4, and retain most electronics..
Seems to be perfect lens combination, beats the Canon 100-400mmm
Should be much better then Canon 100-400+1.4X3?

While it’s possible to use Canon lenses on a Sony Mirrorless Camera using an adapter I have never heard of a Sony to Canon adapter.

That isn't possible.  You can only adapt lenses from a system with a longer flange distance than the camera you are adapting it to, not the other way around.  Mirrorless cameras genrally have much shorter flange distances due to the lack of a mirror box.  The adapter then makes up the difference in distance from the rear of the lens to the sensor.  In the case of the Sony 100-400, it is made for the short flange distance of the Sony mirrorless system and the Canon DSLR has a much longer flange distance so you would never be able to focus the lens.  It would be similar to attaching an extension tube to the lens

The Sony 100-400 may be a bit better, but it's not substantially better than the Canon 100-400 V2. Your options are buy a Sony E mount body and this lens combo or buy a lens that fits your Canon mount. If you need the extra reach maybe the Sigma or Tamron 150-600.

I agree, have used both extensively and just sold my Canon version a couple of months ago.

The Sony is better but not by as  great a margin as DXO says. However, the 1.4X from Sony is smaller, lighter and sharper - but also more expensive. I have used the lens without the converter on the A7R3 and prefer to crop into the image. However, with my A9 the combination works quite well, especially given the better AF and frame rate of the A9.
