I purchased a Sony a6000 with the two kit lenses and have used it to take pics of grandkids, etc. Recently I tried it out on multi-flash photography of hummingbirds. With the camera set on AF-C (continuous autofocus that is supposed to maintain focus on a moving subject) and the drive mode set to Continuous Shooting - High and the shutter button held down to take a burst of photos, after every image is taken the image just taken is very briefly displayed in the viewfinder. This makes it very difficult to track an erratically moving subject, such as a hummingbird.

Is there a setting where the the subject is visible continuously? I don't know much about mirrorless cameras, have always used a DSLR.

A couple of points....turn review setting off. Unlike the 6300 & 6500, the 6000 has the slower processor and does show the "slide show effect".which can be disconcerting for some people. The newer cameras do not have this up to 8fps (11fps still has the slide show effect).

Go to the first page of the gear wheel menu and under Auto Review, select off.
