I just acquired a Canon 600mm f4 IS II and need to get a replacement foot to fit my Wimberley head. Would like to hear recommendations from those who have this lens. There has to be enough room to allow the lens hood to be attached in reverse for transport and a bit of a knob on the end to prevent it slipping out of my hand.

Thanks in advance,
Bob

Never mind. I just used the search feature and got enough info to decide on the NS456 foot.

The NSN 600mm replacement foot is excellent.

Yes, the NSN foot is very good. I don't particularly like the RRS foot even though it works fine for the most part. The RRS is polished smooth if you hold the lens, the NSN is not smooth but it is not rough either. I prefer the NSN one.
