Although it's only a 2.0 USB drive, it's a good deal ($32.99) for those who need on for compact travel storage. It's probably today only, but I'm sure you will see it again.

128 GB is at bottom of page for $19.99.

A USB 2 drive of that size is worthless in my opinion. the read and write speeds are so slow as to make it worthless for most modern applications and especially digital photography. Try writing 256GB of data at USB 2 speeds - you are talking almost a week to fill it at maximum USB 2 transfer rate which it can't sustain for more than a few seconds.

I use USB 2 flash drives all the time, but I don't ever try to transfer large amounts of files or data at one time. They are great for storing music and documents in a compact, portable unit. For others, there is also this at a discounted price of $59.99:

and a USB 3 128 GB for $27.99 here:

Thank goodness I no longer have to use USB 2.0.  My PC has USB 2.0 but I was forced to buy a USB 3.0 PCIe card a couple of years ago.  I had forgotten how sloooooowwwww USB 2.0 was until this thread.  I can be a patient person but wasn't interested in watching paint dry.

Sure but then it isn't really applicable to a photography site ;)

I guess some of us (me) are still living in the land of turtles. I only have USB 2 and am in no rush. While photos are downloaded, I have other things to do. Once they are downloaded, I have no problem accessing or working with the images with no delays. Most of my external HD's are also USB 2's. I guess if a person shotguns, there are more images to work with. I seldom need to move more than 32 GB at a time.
