I have Gitzo 5542 LS which is not suitable for travelling for landscape or occasional urban photography. I am searching for a tripod less than 2kg with reasonable price. Got several option like mefoto, bento.
The mefoto globetrotter series is good, I know E.J is using this.
At the same time they have come up with globetrotter air those are very attractive price and equipped with some new twist lock technology.
Anybody here has used them?
Are they suitable to use with 70-200 f2.8 along with D810, if I say as maximum load.
The weight capacity is showing 8 kg though.
Benro C168tv1 has better load capacity and also good but a bit pricey.
Any other suggestion is also welcome.

I use a four section carbon fiber series two tripod from Induro for travel. It fits into my checked suitcase and is rated to hold 35 lbs or 16 kg. I believe the model is CLT 204. The CLT 104 might work for you too.
