Has anyone had any experience with this product?  Will it work with FF 500 or 600 lenses with clearance?  It can be difficult to find subjects in the viewfinder with a 600 f4 Minolta and this looks pretty neat.

I don't have it but I read that it works with any camera (even though Oly doesn't say it).

I don't own one either. But, I recently met someone at a Hawkwatch who was using it with a Nikon 600mm lens. He liked it a lot. I tried using it and am thinking of getting one for my self. I tried a red dot rifle sight in the past, but could never get it to work.

I Was going to get one for my OMD mkII but then thinking about it realized that one does not know for sure the bird is in focus so you may well get the bird in the sight but could be taking lots of OOF shots without knowing it .

That is why your camera has auto focus...for a 600 lens on a crop sensor with the very narrow FOV, this sight has the ability to quickly find the subject.  I haven't tried it yet with BIF, but aiming was my primary purpose.

So is the idea to use this to find the bird then use the camera's view finder ? That would seem like a good way to use it with a long FL lens .
