Has anyone used the Wimberly P5 universal camera bracket with the 5D Mark4?  I am concerned that it will cover the battery door and need to be loosened to change the battery.  It also seems like the camera must be mounted on the quick release clamp 90 degrees from the position of the older bracket.  Does this present an issue of the tightening knob getting in the way of either the lens or poking out form the back of the camera base while mounted?  Thanks for input.

And the answer is the plate fits fine without blocking the battery door. I took delivery of the 5D4 and plate last week. Noticed no one responded to this question so I decided to assist others who may have the same question. To mount on a tripod I point the locking knob toward the front of the camera, under the lens.
