My normal carry around setup is a Nikon D7200 with the updated 80-400. I have been finding that having it over either shoulder with the normal Nikon included strap is okay but the next day I can feel it. I came across a product called the Cotton Carrier and was wondering if this would work for my specific setup and take some of the weight off the shoulders and neck. I have never used a tripod or monopod and with shootiing mainly bird subjects need to be fairly flexible with getting the shot sometimes quickly. Thanks for any info or advice.

I have used the cotton carrier and it is very good.. No side affects the next day. I own the vested with 2 cameras. I did a hike that was a total of 10 miles in very rough terrain, both cameras were safe and held securely even as I had to jump boulder to boulder in 1 area. You can buy single camera set ups also, but I do not own that 1..The side holster which comes with the 2 camera vest is good but also and can be used alone without vest. You will want a large width belt and a
tight cinch on your waist..Only drawback I see using the vest doing street photography or functions that have a lot of people around is you will surely stand out in the crowd! I use it to holster my 70-400mm wildlife lens along with my 70-200 2.8 together or with a fast landscape lens. I shot a hot air balloon festival and
had a 70-300 pro lens along with my 16-50 2.8 lens to capture a variety of ranged shots..Only flaw I see with it is it can be hot to wear(mine is black one).

The CC vest would definitely be great for you. I use it with a Canon 100-400 all the time, and it is very comfortable.
Here's a video review I made about the vest with more info. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EfBPlZxlCOQ

Purchased the Cotton Carrier Vest works perfectly. No more issues with shoulder pain at all, love it.
