Any recommendations for an 82 mm circular polarizer worthy to be placed on a Zeiss 21 mm f/2.8 lens?

Thanks

I use the Zeiss T* one because it is made for that lens and uses the same coatings as the lens does.

Thanks EJ. Have you tried the Zeiss CPL for the 15 mm lens as well ?
That one is a big chunk of change.

Is there any vignetting at all on the 21 mm when using the Zeiss T* ?
Thanks again.

The 21mm Zeiss can be used with two (2) regular filter stacked, without any side effects.
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.

No, none at all.  There isn't even any with a very thick variable Neutral density filter.

One thing though is that the darkening a CPL gives you is not constant across the sky and that the wider the FOV the more likely that the image will see this variation. Getting even darkening with a 21mm isn't likely. Darkening will be maximum at 90 degrees to the Sun and decline to near zero at 0 and 180.

Brian
I wouldn't use it for a sky shot, especially not in horizontal mode.  Polarizers have a lot more uses than just sky ;)
