$2200 USD for the 24 f/1.4 and $1259 USD for the 16-35.

A UWA with VR does bring up some interesting street shooting possibilities where a tripod is not practical, though an f/2.8 and VR together would have been even better. Regardless, it'll be interesting to see what the creative folks do with it.

I think the 16-35 will also be a less expensive option than a 14-24 for FX shooters

I have the 14-24 and love it but the 16-35 with VR and the ability to take filters will make it a more versatile and i would imagine very popular lens, Look forward to seeing tests on FF bodies

I think the 16-35 will be a very popular lens! I even toyed with the idea of selling my 14-24, for about one nanosecond. I just can't imagine selling that fantastic lens even though the new 16-35 will probably be generally more useful to me.

Ditto the Ditto. :D . Be very interesting to see the tests and comparisons as I expect too, it'll be hugely popular and in short supply.
