Amongst macro spider photographers, wolf spiders are one the favourites, because of their cool eyes. This is a fairly common Wolf Spider species here.  This was taken in my yard. Over 100 frames stacked in Helicon Focus.  Please click on image to view full size.

Here's looking at you...or is it? Amazing closeup-all those hairy parts in great detail. The eyes have it, though.
