Not much Macro here, but a little Flora.   :)

Taken with a 800 PF.  Was struck by the gorgeous light on the bracken.  Just a smidge of position change to bring in the Oak Tree to provide a second element.  Shot FF.

Thanks for looking.

Love this, Dave. So simple and elegant. Nice to see the bits of spider web too. Be sure to look at the high rez- it really shows off the beautiful light.

The light and the spider webs are the stars of the show here.

This is great, I love the light and the colours.
Amazing use of the 800PF, that shows that many lenses can more than what we often think.
When I first saw this, I thought "Plena!" but this is a great inspiration that, next time when out with a long lens, I will try to look differently at many scenes and see if there is something I would have missed so far.

Thanks Markus.  The 800 is almost two lenses in one.  Into the light it behaves quite differently than from frontal lighting, in a way that can be really pleasing.  (Doesn't like too many highlights so I need to be careful as am not overly fond of the cats eyes).  The 800 brings in / compresses too, which was important to me on this occasion, as I am fond of the kiss of light in the bg tree also, and the shape of that light. One of those things.  One persons distraction can be another's joy, as the little details have an intricacy that shouts nature.

At that time, I just seen the Robin, and turned around to catch that.

The Plena, is in my plans, as that most definitely has that special look to it, particularly as shown by some of your images...

The lighting brings out the leaves colour and patterns, so well here, David. A very unique photograph!

Beautiful colors, backlight, and composition. I like the background.
