A while back I posted milkweed seed bug nymphs. These are three adults from the same brood, a couple of weeks later.

They sure are impressive- so colorful. I like the way you show them inside the pod. Makes for a great composition. Did they eat the innards?

I've never seen them munching on the seeds, either the nymphs or the adults. But it sure looks like it.
