CANON R7
CANON 100-500 RF @ 186mm f7.1 @ 1/1600 ISO 1000 The Giant Swallowtail Butterfly, is a very uncommon species here in Canada, being restricted to a small area of Southern Ontario. I've seen a few over the years, but never able to photograph one. This individual was photographed during a morning of Hummingbird photography, when it landed on this Cone flower. This is North America's largest butterfly, and quite nicely marked and coloured- a late Summer image. Province of Ontario, Canada, image - August 18, 2024. Thanks to everyone for viewing. |
