After seeing Gavin's unusual rainbow in Landscapes, I wanted to show this close view of one I saw in Vermont yesterday. Apparently a lot of rainbows appeared around the state. Could only get a partial view with 100-400 lens. But I was interested to see a double purple stripe separated at the bottom and little or no red at the top. The sun was shining through the center part. . This rainbow was the result of a brief downpour and only lasted about 2-3 minutes. Will also post the whole thing in T&C taken with an iphone. Please click for a better view of the colors. Cynthia (Cindy) Crawford-Moderator, Photo & Digital Art
