A Grasshopper photographed at the Laguna Seca Ranch in deep South Texas 24 July 2024. 90mm Macro, 1/250 sec, f/5.0. iso 400, natural light, handheld. Missing a back leg and an antenna. Life as a bug must be tough. Large view looks better. Before looking at grasshoppers through a macro lens, I had no idea that they have hair.

Ah, yes-I see those bristle around the grasshopper. I would not have known either! Great shot-looks like it is hanging on for dear life.
