NikonZ6iii, 500PF with adapter, 1/2500, f/5.6, ISO 6400

Trying out the new Nikon Z6iii. Works well with my 500PF lens with an adapter.  Still a lot to learn with this camera, but generally pleased.  Will do a lot of comparisons with Zf, and D500 with this lens, and other iterations.

Beautiful colours, the water drops are great.

How big is the flower, did you use an extension tube?
My 600 PF does not have a very good minimum focusing distance, just 4 metres.

Have fun with the Z6 III.

Hi Markus-thank you.

The flower is about 1.5" or so. I did not use an extension tube. I don't think the adapter changes anything.  The 500PF  is 9.85 feet ( 3 meters)  minimum. I stood back quite a distance, and this is  cropped  a bit on all sides.

Thanks Darren!  I'm hoping the Z6iii will do better than my D500 with this lens, but that's a hard act to follow! Wish I could afford the new 600..if I keep this camera at all. :)

Love the framing Cindy. Lovely shot with the placement and waterdrops. The new kit looks in good hands.

Thanks, Dave!  Only a few days into  trying out this camera, but I'll probably keep it....

Thanks Axel. I did use some Topaz denoise , as this was pretty high ISO. Even so, denoise didn't add much.
