I like this image of a hoverfly where the wings are not still....fluttering a little.
In the set of images of this fella, this one stands out in this way,....

AP. f8, 1/50 sec, iso800 90D, 180T +1.4TC, no flash, cropped, tripod-supported.,

As usual nothing jaw-dropping ...just somewhat interesting (i hope)

Hope its an enjoyable view....Comments welcomed.

+1 - lovely colours and details. Totally agree regarding wing motion - nice dynamic touch.

A lovely image - and the wing movement does add a nice touch Darren! I have always liked hoverflies ever since I was a child, I think it is because it was great to find something with stripes that didn't want to sting me!

Nice color and detail, but what jumps out at me are the comp, angle, and dof - here’s this little guy waaay up a stem. . . Fun view!

Splendid capture of the wing movement and the abdomen patterns.
