We were delighted to find this rare migrant orchid during covid travel restrictions....it seemed that as we couldn't travel to Italy, the plants came to us! Since then we've made semi-annual visits to the site and are pleased to see the population expand, including new hybrid plants resulting from a cross with the early spider orchid (O. sphegodes).
Nikon Z8 and Irix 150mm f2.8 macro. Composite image merged from video file. Larger view Thanks for the visit, have a lovely day. |
